Church Security Team Development

“Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers…” Acts 20:28

Purpose:

Our Church Security Team Development course is designed to prepare a church security/safety team to be prepared for, prevent, and if necessary, to respond to a dynamic and dangerous situation.

It is important to understand the role of the security/safety team in a church. How does the team fit in with the Great Commission of Matthew 28? In what roles should members of the team be gifted and prepared for? What things should a team be aware of, have prepared and have protocol to address? What is required to prevent a threat from causing harm. If a threat were to appear, what can be done and how? What should be done after a threat is addressed?
All of these things and many more are part of this course and this course can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any given church or worship organization.

This course is typically presented in 2 main parts with the first being required at least in some form, and the second being optional but strongly recommended:

A review from our last training event:

"Iron Element came to our church and worked side by side with our security team to help us grow and improve as a team. The classroom information was practical and insightful, and the dynamic portion of the training was not only exciting but eye opening! This training helped us better understand our strengths and weaknesses as a team, and gave us some really great feedback on what we can do to improve and grow. Justin’s team was outstanding! It was clear that not only are they knowledgeable, but they also have a heart for ministry. They made it clear that Security is a calling, just as serving in Children’s Ministry is. Everyone who attended the training had nothing but outstanding things to say about the quality of this training and the character of the Iron Element team!  We would recommend Iron Element to any house of worship looking to make their facility as safe as possible!"
