Why do personal firearms coaching at Iron Element?

The instruction at Iron Element is focused on safety, proficiency and education. We strive to not only communicate the very best methods and skills but also to do it in such a way that each student receives dedicated and personalized coaching and education. One thing that irritates us is hearing and seeing misconceptions and bad habits spread throughout the shooting community.
We want you to not only hear the correct way to do things but also to understand how to actually be better. If you are better at the end of the session, then we have done our job. We are also gun people and we live the firearm lifestyle so seeing a smile on our student's faces is icing on the cake!

Instructors

Justin Miesse - Our lead instructor holds positions as NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, Chief Range Safety Officer, Personal Protection Inside the Home, USCCA instructor, Intuitive Defensive Shooting Instructor, and has been teaching students of every age, demographic and experience level for over 16 years.

Justin began shooting as a small child and has been around firearms of every kind throughout his life. He has shot competitive pistol, hunted with all types of firearms and archery, trained with top instructors and firearms schools throughout the U.S. and has years of education in presentation and communication. Justin received a B.S. of Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo in 2005.
