The Iron Element 22 Long Rifle competition involves open competition with the 22 rifle.  

• The course of fire may include but not be limited to: Standing, Kneeling, Sitting, Using an obstacle, Prone positions.  50-100 yards scored with possible 100-200 yard shots for bonus tie-breaker points.  Targets will vary in size from .25" steel swingers to 16x24" steel plates.  Scores are primarily determined by accuracy with time being secondary.  
• Shooters of all ages welcome. Rental guns available for participation but no ranks will be given to competitors using rental guns.  
• Any type of .22LR rifle and sight/optic is permitted, modified or stock.    Cost: $40 per competitor(Youth $30) or $30 for early registration(Cutoff is 12:59PM - Feb 29th) Round count will be 30 rounds per competitor. Squad winners will will have a 10 shot shoot-off to determine 1st and 2nd place.  Awards: 1st Place: $75 gift card, Iron Element Champion Helm plate, Trophy plaque 2nd Place: $50 gift card 3rd Place: $25 gift card 4th Place: $20 gift card 5th Place: $10 gift card
